South Island Secondary Schools Open Water Championships 2024 - Nelson

Congratulations to Keshia and Nia Linyard who competed at the South Island Secondary Schools Open Water Championships in Nelson on Saturday 2nd November. It was held in conjunction with the Ocean Sea Swim Series. We are very proud you.

3.2km SISS Open Water Championships

Nia 2nd girl overall in the South Island Secondary Schools Open Water Championships 3.2km.

Nia 2nd in the Girls 14 – 15 year old age group in 46.08.

Nia 2nd in the Girls 14 – 15 Banana Boat Ocean Sea Swim Race.

Nia was also 4th women overall in the 3.2km Banana Boat Ocean Race.

Keshia was 5th girl overall in the South Island Secondary Schools Open Water Championships 3.2km

Keshia was 3rd in the Girls 16 – 19 year old age group in 50.08.

3rd in the Girls 16-19 Banana Boat Ocean Sea Swim Race.
