NZ Open Water Championships - Taupō 2024

Congratulations to all our swimmers who competed at the NZ Open Water Championships at Taupō. Marcell Kepess, Sophie Pahl, Keshia and Nia Linyard.

We would like to congratulate you all on the great way you represented Tasman Swim Club. You all made us proud. Highlights included Marcell and Sophie racing over the 7.5 km. Marcell placed 1st in the 13-14 Boys and Sophie 5th in the 15 - 17 year old girls. Nia was 3rd in the 13-14 Girls 2.5 km race and Keshia 6th in the 15-17 Girls 2.5 km.

Keshia and Nia also raced in the 1km Banana Boat race 40 minutes after their 2.5 km races. Nia placed 7th in the 10 -13 girls and Keshia 5th in the 14-19 girls. For more details, including photos check out our facebook page or check out the results from the event here.
